Experts Warn Ukrainian Conflict Threatening World Supply Of Virtue Signaling

New York, NY – With the Russian invasion of Ukraine gaining global attention, experts are warning the conflict is dangerously threatening the world’s supply of virtue signaling. In the span of a few short days, the world’s social media heroes have redirected previous empty gestures for Covid vaccinations, climate change and Black Lives Matters to focus onto a singular target. “From Ukrainian flags in bios, support hashtags, buildings lit in Ukrainian colors and pouring Russian vodka out; this unprecedented level of online self-congratulating is threatening to eventually bleed dry the virtue signaling pipeline that so many progressive ideas depend upon.” said Dr. Jarrod Brown. World leaders are also beginning to wave the red flag; in an interview given last week, talking horse John Kerry bleakly stated: “You have a war and obviously you’re going to have massive emissions consequences to the war. But equally importantly, you’re going to lose people’s focus on virtue signaling about the climate, you’re going to lose certainly big country attention because their virtue signaling will be diverted and I think it could have a damaging impact.” Experts are demanding countries regulate the signaling or we face a bleak future where the average human being would learn of a problem, empathize and then if possible, quietly try something meaningful to solve it; instead of only making sure everyone on social media knows how much they’re pretending to care. Brown concluded: “That’s a frightening future and completely avoidable if we act now. I’m doing all I can. #IStandForVirtueSignaling.”
