Comcast Flooded With Inquiries From Airports Worldwide About “China Package” Blocking CNN

Philadelphia, PA – Cable television company Comcast reports being inundated with inquiries from airports worldwide about the nicknamed “China Package”, that allows viewers to block CNN.  Ever since CNN themselves highlighted reporting on Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai resulted in their broadcast being blocked in real time throughout China, Comcast customers have wanted to learn more about that option.  “We’ve been getting emails and calls from airports around the globe, especially from travelers waiting in those airports.” reports Comcast operations director Jill Turner. “We unfortunately have to inform them that isn’t a feature on the standard Comcast package but something the Chinese government has created.  And no, we don’t have a number for the Chinese government.” This groundswell of support for Comcast to create a “China Package” is obviously concerning to CNN, as 92% of it’s daily audience are people stranded in airports; forced to decide whether to watch Sanjay Gupta or the couple from Sacramento argue about how early check-in is.
