Courts Force Teachers Back To Doing Job They Love

Richmond, VA – After a multi-year, acrimonious legal battle, educators across Virginia school districts have finally been forced back to doing the job they love.  Teachers bitterly fought to preserve remote, online classes instead of being required by state directives to be in the same room with the same students that mean the world to them.  “It’s great to be compelled to be back,” exclaimed 3rd grade teacher Melinda Sparks. “Just seeing my students’ disease-ridden, young faces light up as we go through the motions of y’know…school stuff, makes the court order to be here worth it.”  Coerced teacher unions have released a public statement reminding the public that for its members, teaching is not just a job, but an inspired calling which they will shortly be filling an appeal to block from moving forward.
