This Holiday Season, Don’t Forget To Thank Your Elderly Loved Ones For Not Running For President
As we gather together with loved ones this festive holiday season, we should not forget to thank the elderly members of our family for not running for President of the United States. While it might seem like a small thing that goes without saying, letting our more experienced relatives know we appreciate all that their full lives represent and most importantly, they didn’t attempt to assume leadership of the entire free world. Let them enjoy a warm mug of cocoa, spending their remaining years sharing their accumulated wisdom, instead of fumbling their way lost on the world stage. Embrace these special times we have together, not wrecking the economy, energy supply and international relationships. And remember to save a little gratitude for their spouses, who presumably didn’t shove them into an embarrassing pursuit for the throne to simply live in a nicer house.
